Then it is time to get outfitted with glacier boots and crampons and follow your experienced guide as they cut ice steps to help you explore. Children aged 0-8 are not allowed to join this activity.
Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible.
We do not recommend this activity for the elderly and customers with disabilities.
Customers who weigh more than 115kg and/or pregnant are not able to take part in this activity.
Due to safety reason, children are not allowed on the 11:00 am tour from 1 May to 30 September. Please book the 1:30 pm tour if you are travelling with children.
English ability: You must have very good English in order to participate in this activity. This experience uses technical equipment to travel on raw glacier terrain. As you are out all day learning to use this equipment and navigating natural features it is mandatory that you can communicate, comprehend and follow instructions to a very high level. This is for everyone's safety and presently instruction is only given in English.
Physical ability: While no previous experience is necessary, a good level of fitness and agility is required.
Your flight is subject to favourable weather conditions; if cancelled due to poor weather, you will have the option of an alternative date or a full refund.

Please note that the size and shape of the blue ice caves in the glacier change every day, sightseeings cannot be guranteed.
What to bring:
3-4 layers of warm upper body clothing (jeans are not recommended on wet days, as they become very cold and uncomfortable to wear)
Sunglasses and sun protection (including for your lips)
A daypack, a drink and snacks
A warm hat and gloves
