Assembling arrangement:
  • Address: Whale Watch Kaikoura, the Whaleway Station Rd, Whaleway Road, Kaikoura 7340, New Zealand

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

  • Car: Whale Watch Kaikoura is a 2.5 hour scenic drive north of Christchurch. Free parking provided.

Tips:

  • Child ticket: Ages 3 - 15 years
  • Unfortunately due to safety reasons, children under 3 years of age are not permitted on this tour. Please note the supplier has the right to adjust the minimum age of the group.
  • Smoking is not permitted aboard the vessel.
  • This tour is subject to sea and weather conditions. This may mean a tour is cancelled or safety restrictions placed on children or passengers with medical problems.

  • While there is no guarantee that whales will be seen on your tour, in the event your tour does not sight a whale you will be refunded 80% of your tour cost.


Tour times:


  • 10:00 am, 12:45 pm (all year)

  • 7:15 am, 3:30 pm (November to March)

  • Actual time on the water is up to 2.5 hours. Including check-in time and the safety briefing, you should allow 3.5 hours in total for this activity.

How to Use
Booking information:
  • Upon booking this product, you will receive confirmation in the form of a tour voucher.

  • Please present the voucher on your mobile device on the day of the tour.

  • Your tour operator's contact details are included on the tour voucher.


Cancellation rules:
  • Full refunds will be issued for cancellation or revision made at least 7 days before use.
  • 30% payment fee will be charged for cancellation or revision made at 4-6 days before use.
  • No cancellation or revision within 3 days before use.
  • If you do not show up at the required time, you will be considered to have forfeited your booking and will not be entitled to a refund.
