No transfers are available, please make your own way using one of the suggested transport methods below.
Car: Parking is available at the zoo (costs $2 AUD for a five hour ticket).
Tram: Take tram 58 from William Street in the city centre to get off directly outside Melbourne Zoo.
Train: Take train from Flinders Street Station on the Upfield line to get off at Melbourne Zoo's own Royal Park Station.
Bus: Take bus route 505 from Moonee Ponds to Melbourne University to get off outside Melbourne Zoo

Infants aged 0 - 3 can enter free of charge.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Opening hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm daily (last entry at 3:30 pm)
Butterfly Pavilion opening hours: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
We do not recommend you wear perfume as these animals are sensitive to odor.
Feeding animals with human food is not permitted.
