Get up close with Australian native animals and the world's smallest and cutest penguins on the Phillip Island!
Departing daily from Melbourne, your tour heads out at midday to the famous Brighton Beach where a row of colourful bathing boxes lines the coast. You get an opportunity to visit the beach and take pictures of the picturesque and historic landmarks. Your journey continues on to the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you can meet or hand-feed many species of native Australian animals, including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, pademelons, emus and many more. You also get the chance to see lesser-known Australian species in the "Conservation in Action" wildlife show. Arriving at Phillip Island, you can stroll the coastal boardwalks of Point Grant and the Nobbies to enjoy the stunning views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest population of fur seals. Then it comes to the highlight of the tour - the famous Penguin Parade! Watch carefully while these adorable small creatures come back to the shore right before your eyes, making their way to the dunes after a day of fishing. After the parade, you'll still have plenty of time to explore the award-winning Visitor Centre before your return journey to Melbourne.
Upgrade to the Plus Viewing in which the visitor numbers are limited to 300 and with access to up close seating and boardwalk access to enjoy the unrivalled views of the nightly parade. You also have the option of coming down to the underground visiting room where 70 visitors can have technique opportunity to watch the penguins at ground-level. Alternatively, you can join a fully guided group tour with an expert wildlife ranger, in a group of no more than ten visitors, with exclusive priority seating to watch the penguin parade.
