Have fun in the sun with a sandboarding experience to remember at Port Stephens!
Departing from the car park at the entrance to the Port Stephens Stockton Sands, you'll board a custom off-road 4WD bus and head out to the nearby sand dunes. The Stockton Sands are 32 kilometres in length and up to 1 kilometre wide, making them the biggest moving sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere.
You'll have unlimited use of the super-smooth sandboards, perfect for sliding down the dunes at speed. Friendly and professional staff are there to take you to the best sand dunes on the day, and give tips on how to ride your sandboard. Then it is time to climb the dunes and ride back down! Feel the wind in your hair and the adrenaline in your chest as you race down the 30-40 metre high sand dunes! How many times will you slide, roll or run your way down?
When you're all done and dusted, board the next 4WD bus back for a bumpy and fun ride over the dunes. You'll receive a complimentary bottle of water – you'll need it after all that activity!
