Enjoy a day out exploring Tangalooma Island Resort and experience the thrill of hand-feeding the wild dolphins at sunset!
Departing in the morning from Brisbane, you'll cruise by boat across Moreton Bay marine park to reach Tangalooma Island. Here you can start your day discovering all the island has to offer. Protected and treasured, this is nature's theme park where amazing natural encounters are just part of the everyday experience.
You can custom design your day on the island on booking, choosing to enjoy sand tobogganing on a Desert Safari 4WD Bus Tour, explore the seas on a Marine Discovery cruise, Snorkel the Wrecks or jump aboard the Aussie Jet Boat, or even upgrade to the ultimate Helicopter Tour for a birds-eye-view of the region. With full use of resort facilities including swimming pools, restaurants and bar, you can explore the resort, watch an Eco Ranger show and enjoy a delicious lunch at any open food outlet.
The highlight of the day comes with the arrival of sunset. There is a large family of the playful wild dolphins that visit the shores regularly each evening, each with their own distinctive and unique personalities. Walk into the knee-deep water and hand feed one of the wild bottlenose dolphins under the guidance of Dolphin Care Team. You'll have your picture taken with the dolphins, ensuring you can take home part of this unforgettable experience with you. After a full day of adventure, you'll board the return ferry back to Brisbane.
