Locations are chosen each day based on weather conditions and water clarity so as to ensure excellent snorkel and dive opportunities with great underwater visibility. Lunch consists of a delicious Aussie BBQ lunch including steak, sausages, fresh local fish and prawns and fresh salads.
After lunch, visit the second site of the day, where in addition to more snorkelling and diving, there is also an option to take a semi-submersible submarine tour (at an additional cost). From the comfort of Evolution's brand new semi-submersible the 'Sub-Explorer', you will able to view spectacular coral formations and the masses of brilliantly coloured fish without getting wet.
Finally, at the end of your day, cruise back to Cairns while enjoying the hilarious antics of Elvis, Evolution's resident onboard entertainer as he sings and performs his famous didgeridoo show.
Today's tour includes all the must-see attractions between Cairns and Cape Tribulation Beach!
Cape Tribulation is located in the heart of the Daintree National Park World Heritage Area which contains the oldest continually surviving tropical rainforests in the world. The drive between Cairns and Cape Tribulation weaves its way past beautiful white sandy beaches and some of the most picturesque scenery in Australia. We'll stop in Port Douglas where you can enjoy some free time to soak up the village atmosphere.
We're then back on the road to visit the award-winning Wildlife Habitat. While here you will venture through purpose-built native habitats of some of Australia's rare and totally unique native animals. You also have the chance to get a photo holding a koala (optional extra). Afterwards, enjoy a guided rainforest walk and see the crystal-clear waters of the Mossman River cascade over spectacular boulder formations amongst the rainforest.
Lunch is served only metres from Cape Tribulation. Beach and you're in for a treat! Enjoy a chef-prepared meal featuring local (fish, steak or a vegetarian option. Then enjoy a walk and take in the picturesque views at this beautiful historic beach location.
In the afternoon, our journey continues to the majestic Daintree River for one hour Wildlife wildlife and Crocodile crocodile cruise. After a cable ferry crossing of the Daintree River, it is time to head back to Cairns.
