Cape Tribulation is located in the heart of the Daintree National Park World Heritage Area - the oldest continually surviving tropical rainforest in the world. The drive between Cairns and Cape Tribulation weaves past beautiful white sandy beaches and some of the most picturesque scenery in Australia. You'll stop in Port Douglas where you can enjoy some free time to soak up the village atmosphere.
You'll then be back on the road to visit the award-winning Wildlife Habitat. While here you will venture through purpose built native habitats of some of Australia's rare and totally unique native animals. You also have the chance to get a photo holding a koala (optional extra). Afterwards enjoy a guided rainforest walk and see the crystal-clear waters of the Mossman River cascade over spectacular boulder formations amongst the rainforest.
Lunch is served only metres from Cape Tribulation Beach and you're in for a treat! Enjoy a chef-prepared meal featuring local fish, steak or a vegetarian option. Then enjoy a walk and take in the picturesque views at this beautiful historic beach location.
In the afternoon, our journey continues to the majestic Daintree River for a one hour wildlife and crocodile exploration cruise. After a cable ferry crossing of the Daintree River, it is time to head back to Cairns.
