The Redwoods Treewalk is a 553-m walkway that consists of a series of 23 suspension bridges traversing the gaps between 22 majestic 117-year-old Redwood trees.
The bridge sections gradually incline from 6-metres in height to a stunning 12-metres, with an option to go even higher - up to 20-metres!
This suspended 30-min ecological walk provides a unique bird's eye perspective of the forest, capturing its picturesque beauty and ambience which is even more stunning in wet weather.

The forest ambiance and colours are even more stunning in the wet weather. Suggest to wear a sturdy pair of shoes with a solid tread/sole when visiting the treewalk during wetter conditions.
You can walk at your own pace and take your time to enjoy the unique views from the living decks, however, we do advise treewalkers allow up to 30 mins to complete the daytime treewalk.
The Redwoods is located just 5km south-east of Rotorua City Centre. It takes about 5 mins by car, 20 mins by bike or about 1 hr to walk.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by adults.
All treewalkers must be able to walk unaided.
